Dr. Hicham Siouty, MD has been practicing medicine in the South Bay for over 27 years. After studying in such notable cities as Baghdad, London and Chicago, Dr. Siouty continued his education at Harvard Medical School and Mayo Clinic. He is a clinical instructor for UCLA’s nurse practitioner program, and has received awards in research, has published peer-reviewed literature and has received recognition from his colleagues for his expertise in heart disease, osteoporosis, geriatric medicine and more.
My Biography
Practicing in the South Bay for the past 27 years, Hicham Siouty, MD is a board certified Internal Medicine Physician. The son of a diplomat, Dr. Siouty found his passion and inspiration for the art of medicine at an early age when his grandfather founded the first Medical School in London, England where he continued his studies.
Dr. Siouty later completed a research clerkship in trauma at UCLA-Westwood Emergency Medicine Department, internship at Grant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois and an Internal Medicine residency at Rush St. Luke’s Program in Chicago, Illinois.
He also has attended continuing education programs at Harvard Medical School and Mayo Clinic. Some of his other notable achievements include: several research awards, multiple publications in the peer reviewed literature and recognition by colleagues of his expertise in Hypercholesterolemia, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Hypertension, Osteoporosis, Bipolar Disorders and Geriatric Medicine. He also remains a clinical instructor for the Nurse Practitioner program at UCLA. Hicham Siouty, MD was the recipient of the Patient’s Choice Award in 2008.

My Family
Dr. Siouty is married and a proud father of three children ages 23, 20 and 18. He is a fanatic tennis player and soccer fan and enjoys traveling, meeting people, raising money for charity, and watching programs encompassing scientific, cultural and world affairs.
