With more than a decade of frontline experience in critical care and a deep passion for preventive health and chronic disease management, Portia Keough, FNP-C, brings exceptional clinical expertise and heartfelt dedication to her role at Prestige Care Physician. Her approach to primary care blends advanced medical knowledge with genuine compassion—empowering patients to take charge of their health through education, trust, and personalized care.



A proud graduate of Azusa Pacific University (MSN, Magna Cum Laude) and Mount St. Mary’s College (BSN, Cum Laude), Portia’s academic excellence laid the foundation for her distinguished career. She served as a Charge Nurse in the Critical Care Unit at Kaiser Permanente West Los Angeles, where her leadership and mentorship earned her the prestigious Daisy Award and recognition as a trusted preceptor for over a decade.

Board-certified in Family Practice and credentialed in Obesity Medicine, Portia integrates her strong background in acute care, chronic disease management, and evidence-based practice to help patients live fuller, healthier lives. Her additional training in TeamSTEPPS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Ventilator Care reflect her commitment to the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Portia is an active member of professional organizations such as the Obesity Medicine Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. She is also a passionate advocate for community service, having volunteered in health outreach and education across Southern California.

Outside of the clinic, Portia finds joy in fitness, travel, cooking, and investing—interests that keep her energized and grounded in both her personal and professional life.
